Mother/Daughter Retreat at Amangiri

Hosted at Pendry Natirar, where rolling meadows, quiet woodlands, and light-filled gathering spaces create a natural sense of calm. This experience was designed for a group who wanted to reconnect through presence and shared simplicity, with days shaped by thoughtful movement, nourishing meals, and gentle time in nature.

The itinerary invited guests into the rhythm of the countryside through morning walks along the tree line, hands-on cooking in the estate’s culinary studio, ceramics shaped slowly by hand in the afternoon sun, and a soft, easy-paced trail ride through open fields. There were spacious hours for the spa, warm conversation over seasonal dinners, and a golden-hour visit to a nearby sustainable vineyard. The tone was relaxed and unforced, allowing friendships, laughter, and quiet moments to unfold naturally, without hurry or expectation.

Start Planning

Day 1 | Arrivals + Soft Landing

Guests arrive at leisure and settle into the warm stillness of Amangiri. Suites open to sweeping views of stone and sky and feel private and grounding. Afternoon spa appointments are available for early arrivals and include access to the Water Pavilion’s steam room, cold plunge, and desert relaxation spaces.

In the early evening, mothers and daughters gather for an interactive cocktail hour featuring botanicals and desert inspired flavors, followed by a welcome reception on the outdoor terrace. Live acoustic music blends with the landscape and the tone is soft, welcoming, and relaxed.

Day 2 | Shared Wonder + Connection

Morning Restorative Yoga on the Mesa: A gentle movement and breath practice held on a sunrise plateau. Soft light warms the horizon and the session is guided with an emphasis on grounding, energy, and quiet connection.

Breakfast Together: Fresh fruit, warm grains, local honey, and wellness focused offerings served poolside.

Creative Desert Workshop: A hands on art experience inspired by the textures and colors of the land. Mothers and daughters create side by side, guided by an artist who incorporates clay, pigments, or natural materials found throughout the desert.

Afternoon Desert Horseback Journey: A guided horseback ride across Amangiri’s private trails. Slow, scenic, and deeply connective. The group moves at an easy pace with plenty of moments to pause, talk, and take in the vastness around them.

Sego Restaurant: Dinner at Sego Restaurant in Kanab where refined cuisine is shaped by regional flavors and artful presentation. The experience feels special without being formal and the shared meal becomes a moment of celebration.

Stargazing and Navajo Storytelling: Return to Amangiri for an evening beneath the dark sky. A Navajo storyteller shares traditions and cosmology as guests relax beside soft firelight.

Day 3 | Rituals + Memory Making

Guided Breathwork and Sound Meditation: A desert based session focusing on nervous system reset, clarity, and emotional grounding. Mothers and daughters sit together in silence, breath, vibration, and gentle restoration.

Salt and Smoke Culinary Lesson: A chef led tasting and cooking experience exploring desert herbs, aromatics, and smoke based preparation. Mothers and daughters learn together and enjoy small plates crafted in the moment.

Afternoon Choose Your Path: Select between a second restorative spa treatment or a quiet reflective walk along the rock formations that surround the property. Both options are designed for personal rejuvenation and shared ease.

Farewell Dinner at Amangiri: A private dining experience set outdoors against the towering mesa walls. Soft candlelight, refined cuisine, thoughtful wine pairings, and heartfelt conversation close the evening.
