Spyglass Hill Golf Course™
Spyglass Hill Golf Course™
Spyglass Hill is often called Pebble’s equal in challenge, and in some ways, it’s even sterner. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. and opened in 1966, Spyglass combines the drama of oceanside golf with the mystique of Monterey’s coastal forest.
The opening five holes play directly toward the Pacific, with dunes, sea breezes, and sweeping views. From there, the course turns inland, threading through towering pines and elevated greens. Known for its difficulty, Spyglass demands precision with tight fairways, small targets, and strategic bunkering. It’s regularly rated as one of the toughest courses on the PGA TOUR rotation.
Cypress & Salt elevates Spyglass experiences with luxury lodging at Pebble resorts or private estates, curated wine tastings, private tours of Carmel and Monterey, and off-course indulgences like spa treatments and gourmet dining. Playing Spyglass is a rite of passage for serious golfers, and we make it seamless.
