The K Club | Palmer North Course
The K Club | Palmer North Course
The K Club’s Palmer North Course is Ireland’s premier inland championship venue, blending parkland beauty with tournament pedigree. Opened in 1991 and designed by Arnold Palmer, it is set along the River Liffey in County Kildare, just outside Dublin.
The course gained worldwide fame as host of the 2006 Ryder Cup, where Europe triumphed in dramatic fashion. Its wide fairways, strategic bunkering, and water features provide a challenging yet fair test. The par-5 16th, sweeping along the river, and the par-4 18th, framed by the iconic clubhouse, are highlights of a course steeped in tournament history.
Unlike links courses, the K Club provides manicured parkland golf with luxury resort amenities. It is a different but equally prestigious experience in Ireland’s golf landscape.
At Cypress & Salt, we create K Club itineraries that blend championship golf with five-star resort indulgence. From Michelin-starred dining to curated cultural tours, we ensure your K Club journey is as memorable off the course as it is on it.
