Tralee Golf Club
Tralee Golf Club
When Arnold Palmer first set eyes on the site that would become Tralee Golf Club, he declared it “the most magnificent piece of land I have ever seen for a golf course.” Nestled along Ireland’s southwest coast, Tralee delivers on that promise with a breathtaking blend of rugged dunes, wild Atlantic views, and holes that feel as though nature designed them herself.
The front nine showcases Palmer’s architectural genius, weaving through rolling terrain with panoramic vistas of Barrow Harbour and Banna Strand. Then the back nine takes you into the heart of the dunes, offering a dramatic and unforgettable stretch of golf. The 13th, a short par 3 set against the sea, is both spectacular and humbling, while the 17th, a long par 4 curling along the cliffs, embodies the sheer drama of links golf.
Tralee is a course of contrasts: beauty and danger, calm and fury, inspiration and challenge. It is a place where golf and landscape fuse into something greater than the game itself.
At Cypress & Salt, we elevate your Tralee journey beyond the fairways. From private luxury stays along the coast to curated excursions exploring Kerry’s historic sites and vibrant pubs, we ensure your time at Tralee is as unforgettable off the course as it is on it.
