Pinehurst No. 2
Pinehurst No. 2 is the spiritual home of American golf. Designed by the legendary Donald Ross in 1907, this North Carolina masterpiece is famed for its turtleback greens, natural sandy waste areas, and strategic demands that reward precision over power.
Restored by Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw in 2010, the course has retained Ross’s vision while embracing the natural Sandhills terrain. Host of multiple U.S. Opens, Pinehurst No. 2 is a test of imagination and touch, where every shot around the green feels like a puzzle waiting to be solved.
Cypress & Salt designs Pinehurst experiences that merge championship golf with refined Southern hospitality. Guests enjoy historic accommodations at the Pinehurst Resort, private bourbon tastings, spa therapies, and curated excursions through the Carolina countryside.
