Donegal Golf Club (Murvagh) | Championship Links
Donegal Golf Club at Murvagh is a sprawling links set on a sandy peninsula along Donegal Bay. Designed by Eddie Hackett, it is long, challenging, and spectacularly scenic, with the Bluestack Mountains as a backdrop and the Atlantic surrounding.
Known as the “Muirfield of Ireland” for its out-and-back layout, Donegal provides variety and grandeur in equal measure. The par-5 8th and par-4 14th are standouts, but the course’s true strength lies in its scale and setting.
At Cypress & Salt, we curate Donegal journeys that marry championship golf with refined hospitality. From private coastal estates to curated cultural experiences, your Donegal trip is both rugged and luxurious.
