Ballyliffin Golf Club | Old Links & Glashedy Links
Ballyliffin Golf Club | Old Links & Glashedy Links
Located on the Inishowen Peninsula, Ballyliffin is Ireland’s northernmost club and home to two world-class links — the Old Links and Glashedy Links. The Old is a classic, rumpled test with natural humps and hollows, while Glashedy, designed by Pat Ruddy and Tom Craddock, is a modern championship course stretching over 7,200 yards.
Both courses feature spectacular Atlantic views and wild, rugged dunes. The 7th on Glashedy, with the towering rock island offshore, is among Ireland’s iconic holes. Ballyliffin hosted the 2018 Irish Open, cementing its place among the country’s elite.
At Cypress & Salt, we design Ballyliffin itineraries that showcase both links while pairing them with Donegal’s warm hospitality. From five-star lodges to curated coastal experiences, we ensure Ballyliffin journeys are elevated and unforgettable.
