The European Club | Championship Links
The European Club is one of the finest modern links courses in the world. Designed and built by Pat Ruddy in 1992, it stretches along three miles of County Wicklow coastline, just south of Dublin. It is rugged, authentic, and unapologetically challenging.
The course features wide fairways framed by dunes, strategically placed bunkers, and greens that require precision. Two extra par-3 holes make for a unique 20-hole layout. The par-4 12th, sweeping along the sea, and the par-3 7th, played over dunes, are considered among the finest modern links holes.
Tiger Woods once described The European Club as “unbelievable,” and it remains a stern yet fair test for the world’s best golfers.
At Cypress & Salt, we design European Club itineraries that pair this modern masterpiece with Dublin’s cultural riches. From luxury hotels to fine dining and curated excursions, we ensure your experience matches the grandeur of the course.
